Realistic magnetic field and density profiles and an inhomogenous ionospheric model are integrated into a 3- dimensional electromagnetic simulation of the inner magnetosphere. We present results from a study of impulsive wave generation and propagation, with particular attention paid to the identification and characterization of ULF Pi1B and Pi2 magnetic pulsations.
