We propose to image a sample of core galaxies in [NII]+Halpha with WFPC2 at high spatial resolution to identify nuclear gas disks in these galaxies. Follow-up long-slit medium resolution STIS spectroscopy along the PA of the nuclear gas disk will then be used to map the gas kinematics. From the gas motions we will constrain the central black hole mass.
