The concentration of gallium in 38 Nigerian Younger Granites is shown to increase from 18 ppm in the amphibole-granites to a maximum concentration of 60 ppm in albite-riebeckite-granite. The values for the Al/10Ga and (Al + Fe 3+ )/10Ga ratios are not constant. Two differentiation trends are suggested by a correlation of gallium and previously reported rubidium data.
