In this talk I plan to review recent efforts and current plans for building the new generation radio instruments combining high spatial, temporal, and spectral resolutions as well as broad spectral coverage, including LOFAR and FASR. These instruments will provide us with much more detailed data generating huge data flows, which demands substantial changes of the concepts of theoretical studies and related modeling. In particular, more automated procedures for event recognition, classification, and analysis will be needed including data inversions and forward fitting modeling. Among many directions, which require the corresponding new modeling, I will specifically discuss in my talk the methods for the coronal radio magnetography and forward models for the flaring radio emission.
