This paper is concerned with the properties of the motion of an electron in the neighborhood of a neutral sheet in their dependence upon the sheet thickness. Based on the prediction that the momentum of a charged particle flying from a neutral sheet may take discrete eigenvalues, the properties of the momentum eigenvalues varying with the sheet thickness are investigated. It is shown that some new quantum states of momentum may be allowed for larger sheet thickness, and that the state density of momentum space tends toward a certain distribution with increasing the sheet thickness.
