Particle-Theory And Field-Theory Models Of The Early Universe, Elementary Particle Processes, Background Radiations
Scientific paper
Concerning our recent model of the submillimeter excess in the cosmic background radiation (CBR) we have numerically solved the evolution equation for the distribution of the emitted photon, the electron temperature, and the hydrogen ionization fraction taking account of all relevant thermal (heating and cooling))procesprocesses. We also monitored the spectrum of the CBR and the residual lighttfor uv-to-ir regions. We found that there exists a considerably wide parameter range for which the observed distortion is correctly described with the residual uv-ir background light consistent with the observation. We also confirmed that the orginally proposed parameters lead to too small a distortion. (AIP)
