The paper examines a method for the formation of a multibeam radiation pattern on the basis of a sampling theorem using Butler phasing-matrix symmetry along with directional couplers. The proposed method is applicable to the development of a meter-wave radio telescope with a large effective area and a radiation pattern that is controlled according to two coordinates.
