Calculations are presented on the fluxes of secondary particles with energies greater than 10 GeV arising from collisions of primary cosmic rays with interstellar matter. The calculations are based on the parameterization of accelerator data on production cross sections of positive and negative pions, antiprotons, and deuterons in proton-proton collisions up to 1500 GeV as a function of varying rapidity for different transverse momenta of the particle produced. The following results have been obtained for the fluxes at the top of the earth's atmosphere: (1) the flux of gamma rays with energies greater than 10 GeV in the direction of the galactic center is nearly one ten-thousandth of the primary proton flux; (2) the ratio of antiproton to proton flux is 0.0002 to 0.0003; and (3) the deuteron flux from p-p collisions is negligible in comparison with that from the fragmentation of alpha particles.
