The latitudinal distribution of the flux of nuclei with energies of several hundred MeV/nucleon was measured in the Salyut-6 orbit (a height of 350 km and an inclination of 51.6 deg). The experiment used the Astro-2 instrument, in which nitrocellulose detectors were cyclically shifted with respect to one another. The experimental results do not agree with theoretical calculations of the penetration of galactic cosmic rays to the Salyut-6 orbit. Possible reasons for this discrepancy are discussed.
