Generic particle transport, with radiative transfer as a special case, in a Markovian mixture of two immiscible fluids is considered. A recently proposed model for the ensemble-averaged intensity consists of two coupled transport equations. The formalism which leads to a flux-limited diffusion approximation to this model in the form of two coupled diffusion equations is developed. Such a flux-limiting diffusion description has proved extremely useful in the nonstochastic particle-transport setting. Numerical results are given for one-dimensional problems.
