In April 1981, a drifting station in the Arctic (85 deg N, 158 deg E) detected signals (f = 150 MHz) from the Transit satellite in polar orbits at a height of about 1000 km. Spectral densities of signal-amplitude fluctuations, calculated for different phases of the substorm of April 11-12, are calculated. In addition, median values of the magnetic activity index of hourly rank are presented for April 10-15.
