An event of flaring arch which occurred on June 15, 1989 in AR5533 is described, and a series of Hα and Hα off-band images of the arch which were obtained by 26 cm solar telescope at Yunnan Observatory are also given. Conclusion is made as follows: (1) The secondary footpoint of the event is 35000 km away from the primary footpoint. (2) The interval between increasing brightness of the small intense flare and emission mass reaching to the secondary footpoint is about 7 min. (3) The Hα emission material propagates along the arch with a mean speed of 130 km s-1.
