This paper reports on the implementation of an integrated optics component acting as a multi-recombiner in an optical servo-system dedicated to control of a linear optical path modulation in a stellar interferometer. This laboratory experiment involves a two-fibre-armed interferometer with an integrated optics combiner providing two π/2 phase-shifted interferometric signals required for the error signal generation. Thanks to the control of the polarization status along the whole of the interferometric device, fringes with steady high contrasts are obtained. When operating, the servo-system allows the residual error on the optical path linear modulation to be kept lower than 3 nm RMS.
