We present results from the pilot season of the Microlensing Planet Search at the Mt. Stromlo 74" telescope. Approximately 35 microlensing events were observed at 1-2 hour intervals, and examples of caustic crossing binary lensing events were observed. At least one of these binary events has a mass ratio which implies that the secondary has a mass much less than the hydrogen burning limit.
