ISOPHOT has observed three globules CB202, CB220 and CB236 at 100 and 200 μm. Although IRAS has detected YSOs in a number of globules (\cite{yunc1990}), it had insufficient sensitivity and resolution to positively identify pre-stellar objects. ISOPHOT had better resolution, spectral coverage and sensitivity in the FIR than IRAS and, due to the proximity of the peak of the dust emission spectrum to the upper limit of ISOPHOT's spectral range, was the optimum instrument to study these objects. The globules were clearly detected at 200 μm with the emission confined closely to the region of optical obscuration. The dust temperatures at the peak of the 200 μm emission for CB236 and CB220 are in the range 12-15K, assuming a greybody with a dust emissivity index, β, between 1 and 2.
