Coherent-spectral analysis is used to investigate the spectrum uniformity of F-region wave disturbances (WDs) measured via a Doppler technique. An analysis of coherence functions and phase spectra shows that different spectral ranges of the disturbances differ in terms of spatial and temporal properties. It is found that the Doppler fluctuation spectrum is determined both by WDs concentrated in different parts of the spectrum and by stochastic electron-density fluctuations.
