Ulysses spacecraft observations of the Jovian high latitude duskside magnetosphere's magnetic fields and energetic particles, in combination with particle data from the EPAC and HI-SCALE detectors, indicate the presence of bidirectional streaming for electrons along the magnetic field lines during the entire outbound pass on the dusk-side of the magnetosphere. Also noted is proton bidirectional streaming and monodirectional beams along the magnetic field, away from the planet.
