The relationship between recurrent Forbush decreases and recurrent intensifications of the interplanetary magnetic field is investigated on the basis of data from the global network of cosmic-ray stations for 1971-1981. Spectra are determined for recurrent and nonrecurrent Forbush decreases, and the meridional gradient of cosmic-ray density at earth orbit during recurrent Forbush decreases is assessed.
