The latitudinal-propagation characteristics of vlp pulsations are
studied on the basis of Greenland-network data. It is shown that vlp
pulsation bursts propagate northward across the cusp with a phase
velocity of 1-2 km/s. The observed propagation features can be explained
in the framework of a fast-reconnection model.
