The 81Krm to 81Br electron capture rate has been measured and found to have a ft value of 4.58+/-0.11. This result implies 81Br is a feasible target for solar neutrino capture. RADIOACTIVITY Measured branching ratio 81Krm electron capture, deduced ft for solar neutrino capture.
