Plasma: Stark Broadening, Plasma: Radiative Transfer
Scientific paper
The authors have modeled the Stark broadening of the H- and He-like Lyman lines for K-shell spectroscopy calculations. This approach is accurate for ionic emitters having a nuclear charge ranging between low and medium values of Z. This method is fast enough to be coupled in line with a collisional-radiative model for line transfer calculations in hot dense plasmas.
