In considering an n-dimensional Robertson-Walker metric, it is shown that there exists an infinity of 3 + 1 physical subspaces of this metric which are also Robertson-Walkerlike with curvature depending on n - 4 arbitrary parameters. If, in addition, it is assumed that Einstein type equations also hold in n-space with 'stress-energy-momentum' tensor being nil for the cosmos in the augmented space, then it is shown that the possible 3 + 1 physical spaces are not void. The aim of the study is to introduce a model for matter on a cosmological scale in geometrical terms alone.
