Here is presented the hypothesis that ice sheets from a retreating and
sublimating frozen lake changed the planet's surface in southeastern
Elysium Planitia, Mars. This hypothesis is based on observed
morphologies, that are similar to morphologies in terrestrial formerly
glaciated environments.
