We study spectral evolution of GRBs by plotting the spectral break energy Epeak defined by the peak of the time-resolved νFν (power per decade of energy) distribution versus photon fluence integrated from burst trigger time. For pulses within bursts that are sufficiently isolated and that have clean decays, we find that Epeak generally decreases exponentially as a function of the photon fluence.
