We have recently completed a comprehensive and standardized spectral analysis of the entire (9 years) blazar data from the EGRET mission, using the skymaps regenerated to include the changes in performance during the mission. The analysis has revealed several, previously unreported, interesting features. Some of the well observed blazars show complicated variability in their SEDs, across epochs. A hysteresis pattern in the spectral index Vs. flux (> 100 MeV) space was also observed. We have also extracted the mission integrated spectra for all the sources, which shed light on the relative importance of the various inverse Compton mechanisms responsible for gamma-ray emission in the EGRET energy range. We will also summarize the most important results from the EGRET mission and discuss the expectations from the upcoming GLAST mission for some of the sources.
