^44Ti is an important nucleus in nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics. Recently, beams of this isotope with intensities of about 0.1 pnA have been produced at the ATLAS accelerator using the two-accelerator method. Details of the production technique, results from experiments of interest to nucleosynthesis in supernovae and to nuclear structure and plans for future experiments with beams of other short and long-lived nuclei will be discussed.
