Experimental S isotope fractionation between bismuthinite and coexisting sulfur was investigated as a function of time (up to 10,000 hours) and temperature (150-600°C) under dry condense conditions. The temperature dependence of the S isotope equilibrium fractionation was found to fit the equation. 100 1n α(~Δ34SBi2S3-S°) = (-0.51+/-0.07) × 106T-2 (K-2)
