Models: Evolutionary, Abundances

Scientific paper

Evolutionary tracks of the reference model of galactic chemical evolution used to estimate DLA depletions. This model is that of a dwarf galaxy with parameters Minfall=1x109M&sun;, epsilon=0.4Gyr-1, and normal wind with λw=3.5Gyr-1. More details on the model can be found in Section 4 of the paper. The criteria followed to select this particular model are explained in Section 5.1.3. Abundance ratios are by number and are expressed in a logarithmic scale with log(H)=12.
