Results are presented from evolutionary calculations for a close binary system with a central helium burning He-star filling its Roche lobe and an accreting white (CO) dwarf. It is suggested that these systems may be presupernovae for certain SN I types. To examine this hypothesis, evolutionary tracks are calculated for various CO dwarf and He-star masses. Consideration is given to the probable type of burning in these systems and the possible relationships between these binaries and SN I and peculiar SNs with H II regions.
