A combined theoretical and experimental approach seeks to disentangle
mechanisms of water transport in upper regolith: concentration
diffusion, thermal diffusion, and hydraulic flow; with focus on such
aspects as adsorption/desorption, condensation, porosity, diffusivity,
and permeability.
