Some 1965 eclipse observations which included a hot spot that showed spatial line width variations were reexamined for temporal variations of intensity and profile of Fe XIV emission. At two positions considerable temporal variation of intensity was apparently revealed. Some temporal line width variations were also observed in the region of the hot spot and at other coronal positions. There is some correlation between a sharp rise in intensity and a line width decrease as would be expected if a temperature wave was propagating and the average coronal temperature was greater than the Fe XIV equilibrium temperature.
