In April 1963 plates of Eta Carinae taken at the Cassegrain focus of the 1.54-m reflecting telescope at Bosque Alegre (Argentina) disclosed some condensation features surrounding Eta Car, which could not be then measured with an available two-coordinate machine. In this work, a digitized two-coordinate microdensitometer developed by Recabarren et al. (1987) is used to obtain information on these features around Eta Carinae, using plates taken in 1963, in order to verify the hypothesis of the deceleration of their motion. The results of the analysis do not confirm the deceleration hypothesis.
