The clear-sky emissivity epsilon(0) and the ground emissivity epsilon(g) in Bahrain are studied. The annual value of epsilon(0) is 0.88 + or - 0.039, relating to the maximum and the minimum values in August and February, respectively. Meanwhile, the annual value of epsilon(g) is 0.338 + or - 0.228, where the maximum and the minimum values are in July and January, respectively. These two parameters are related to the transmittance factor tau.
