Based on dimensionality considerations, the oscillation period of plasmoids was estimated taking into account their characteristic magnitudes and the plasma temperature. It is shown that the oscillation period of plasmoids is related to the square root of temperature. The formula may be used to obtain the temperature and the plasma density in the magnetotail.
