Drifting and diffusing particles with identical values for the first and second adiabatic invariants are studied in the context of a moving tube of magnetic flux force lines. The most probable distribution of the magnetic flux, which is the equilibrium distribution, is calculated in terms of the third adiabatic invariant. Applications which can make use of this exponential distribution are considered.
