Enhanced activity of the Ursids was observed in Japan on the night December 22, 1994, when a shower maximum occurred at around 18h10m UT. The time corresponds to the solar longitude (eq. 2000) of lambda=270.75 degrees. This is almost the same position as the maximum in 1981 (lambda=270.82 degrees) and 1993 (lambda approx. 270.81 degrees). From the Ursid observations in 1981, 1993, and 1994, we infer that a Ursid stream with high influx rates exists around P/Tuttle in at least the range -12 degrees < Delta M < +28 degrees.
