A large volume of data concerning the energy spectrum of flare particles as measured in the stratosphere and interplanetary space is analyzed. Particular consideration is given to nuclear gamma-lines and the in situ energy spectrum of particles; the effect of coronal propagation on the shape of the energy spectrum of particles with energies less than 100 MeV/nucleon; and solar neutrinos and the energy spectrum of accelerated particles in the high-energy region. It is shown that different approaches to the determination of the energy spectra give similar results, which supports the hypothesis that the shape of the spectrum of flare-accelerated particles remains constant in the 10-1000 MeV range; the power-law spectrum is considered to be the most probable.
