The existence of a black hole has been shown experimentally with a reasonable probability to reside in the galactic center region but not much is known about its size, angular momentum, or accretion processes. A computer study was made of different masses ob black holes, their accretion processes, and the energy spectrum and luminosity produced by these processes. The simulation was carried out on the Cray X-MP24 of the University of Texas. The results of the simulation were compared to the experimental data collected about the galactic center region. Of the 150 Black hole and accretion models, only 17 produced results in the range of energy observed experimentally. This list was reduced by applying logical boundary conditions to the computer results to leave one model as the most likely possibility, a 10,000 solar mass black hole with an angular momentum per mass of 0.9 and an optically thick accretion disk.
