Theoretical investigations and measurements have been performed to reproduce the experimental data for the 12,13C(p,π-) reactions near threshold energies and to investigate the role of the delta resonance in the (p,π-) reactions to ground states. In order to clarify the reaction mechanism, it is inevitable to study the energy dependence of the cross section and the asymmetry. In the present paper, angular distributions of cross sections and analyzing powers were measured for 12,13C(p,π+/-) reactions leading to ground states of the residual nuclei at incident energies of 250, 300 and 350 MeV. Experimental results are compared with the full-range DWBA calculations. .
