Our understanding of the extent to which stellar processes mediate or emulate accretion activity in low-luminosity galaxy nuclei remains incomplete. Ultraviolet spectroscopy provides an important means for characterizing energetic processes in these environments, and provides sensitive diagnostics for stellar populations. This presentation will describe optical and ultraviolet measurements with the Hubble Space Telescope of the LINER nucleus in NGC 3507. The results have bearing on the origin of the emission-line activity in this source and its star-formation history.
