Variability is a proven method to identify intrinsically faint active galactic nuclei in deep HST surveys. We present the results from a variability analysis of the GOODS South and North fields to identify faint AGN using this technique. About 10,000 galaxies in the combined fields were surveyed with 4% revealing significant variability among the 5 epochs over a total time interval of 6 months. This variability-detected AGN sample complements current X-ray and mid-IR surveys for AGN in these fields. While many variables are also identified in mulit-wavelength surveys, we identify a significant number of variable nuclei not associated with X-ray or mid-IR sources. We discuss the nature of these sources including X-ray, IR, radio and morphological properties. Support for Program number 11278.01 was provided by NASA through a grant from the Space Telescope Science Institute, which is operated by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Incorporated, under NASA contract NAS5-26555.
