Using Monte Carlo simulations and some population synthesis algorithms, we consider the evolution of open star cluster population in the Milky Way galaxy. We consider initial mass function and formation rate for open clusters in the galactic disk, as well as mass-loss due to star evolutions and dynamical dissipation processes. We have found some preliminary estimations of number of clusters in dependence of age and current mass.
