We present preliminary results from a comprehensive study of optical emission lines in the intermediate age supernova remnant IC443. This remnant has been well-studied at all wavelengths in the bright northeast limb where the remnant is interacting with a molecular cloud. We have obtained ~ 60 spectra at positions throughout the remnant. The spectra were obtained with the Automated Multi Object Spectrograph (AMOS) at Lick Observatory. This instrument is a multiplexing device utilizing fiber optics to obtain spectra at many positions simultaneously. The passband extends from 3500 Angstroms to 7400 Angstroms with ~ 9 Angstroms resolution. The spectra provide information on both density and shock velocity, as well as abundances, throughout the remnant. The results are compared with similar studies we have conducted on the Cygnus Loop and CTB1.
