The neutrino luminosity of a nonrelativistic nondegenerate neutron gas in a magnetic field owing to the flip of an anomalous magnetic moment, as well as the mean free path of the neutrino due to the absorption in a magnetized neutron gas, has been calculated using the neutron density matrix in the magnetic field obtained in this work. The Fermi energy and partial concentrations of the degenerate neutron gas in the magnetic field have been determined. The astrophysical applications are discussed.
