This poster presents the absolute elemental abundances observed within the equatorial streamer belt during June and July of 1996. This solar minimum streamer belt was observed by the UltraViolet Coronal Spectrometer (UVCS) aboard the SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO). We shall examine how within the streamer belt the Oxygen and Silicon absolute abundances vary with solar rotation, latitude, and height at 1.5 and 1.7 solar radii. One of the features we shall examine in detail is the Oxygen depletion phenomena found in quiesent streamers. A comparison with the in situ measurements of the solar wind elemental abundances measured at SOHO by the Charge, Element, and Isotope Analysis System (CELIAS) for the time frame equivalent to the remote UVCS observations is also presented here.
