Electron transport in N2 is modeled by the Monte Carlo method. The calculations are carried out for electrons of initial energies 0.1 - 10 keV. The structure of the angular distributions of the electron fluxes at various distances from the source is investigated. A good agreement is derived with results from rocket experiments. The differential backscatter coefficients are calculated.
