Tristatic observations of photoelectron-enhanced plasma-lines with the
EISCAT UHF incoherent scatter radar are presented. It is shown that
electron temperatures can be derived from these measurements with a time
resolution of the order of a minute and a statistical accuracy of 50-100
K.
