A model of electron screening of the proton and the Li atom in a solid target is presented in the frame of the density-functional theory. A fit of the enhancement factor is given for the astrophysical energy range. Deduced U0 electron potential values are lower than the experimental ones. Possible causes of experimental uncertainties are finally discussed.
