It has now been increasingly felt that certain solar and astrophysical phenomenon involve length and time scales where electron dynamics is of relevance. A few examples being the proposal of fast reconnection mechanisms to explain large energy release in solar flares; the possibility of turbulent cascade of power in the presence of strong magnetic field to whistler scales, resulting in the preferential heating of electrons in accreting discs, etc. To develop a better understanding of these phenomenon, numerical and analytical studies on Electron Magnetohydrodynamic turbulence will be presented. It will be shown that the turbulent spectrum gets adequately whisterlized resulting in a reduction of the effective turbulent diffusivity of the magnetic field. Whistlers are also found to be instrumental in anisotropization of the turbulent spectrum in the presence of external magnetic field.
