A short electromagnetic wavelength approximation is used to obtain
general solutions to the Maxwell equations for electromagnetic radiation
in a Kerr Schild plane gravitational wave metric. Their properties are
then investigated for the specific case of a light beam in a weak,
harmonic gravitational wave.
